Six years in the radio promotion field has provided Bill Morton with the personal contacts and experience to get your release to the station managers and DJ’s who will Play it. Weather you are looking for a College Radio Campaign or a Commercial Radio Campaign, Bill Morton Promotions carefully selects stations that are most likely to review and Play your new release.
How does Bill Morton Promotions promote my CD?
Utilizing our unique database of over 5,000 contacts, Bill Morton Promotions creates a personal database specifically for your new release. This personal database contains 400 of the radio stations that are the most likely to review and Play your album. We then receive your new releases and create a One-Sheet for mailing to your 400 radio stations. Upon mailing, we call each station to let them know that your new release is on the way. Within two days, we call each station again to confirm that they have received your album, and request that they put your new release on the top of their pile of Artists to review. Throughout your radio promotion campaign, we will be making daily calls and emails to your 400 radio stations to confirm that your release has been reviewed, and is getting Play. Once your new release achieves an Add on a radio station playlist, We continue contacting your radio stations to acquire more Play (added Spins). This constant contact and personal relationships with radio station staff is essential for Charting for both long-term and short-term campaigns.
About Playlists and Charting:
Bill Morton Promotions is dedicated to getting your new release Chart Action. We check the music charts and radio station playlists weekly to report how you are doing with your campaign. Checking the charts shows us where we need to specifically focus to get you more Adds and Plays.
